Also on the cusp

When I started getting into the habit of updating on Thursdays, I didn’t realize one of the updates would fall on my 30th birthday.

I was thinking all week about what I was going to say, whether to be funny or contemplative, or rely on the stand-by whining about how I feel old.

The thing is, despite the hype 30th birthdays usually get, I’m not feeling overly philosophical or depressed, I’m just excited I’m going to have some fun with my friends tonight and don’t have to show up to work the next day. In other words, it’s just like every other birthday.

I did, however, want to drop a line about all the amazing people with whom I shared a birthday. For those who know me, I think you’ll agree this says a lot.
