To Whom It May Concern:

In September of 2004, the Board of Directors of Avis Goodwin Community Health Center (AGCHC) voted to produce a video for our newly approved Capital Campaign. We had a name recognition problem and needed a visual presentation to take to prospective donors presenting our 32 year old agency and the services it provides to the uninsured and underinsured.

The project was assigned to me and I solicited bids from about two dozen video production companies throughout NH. After preliminary phone/e-mail interviews, and reviewing the video samples submitted, I did in-person interviews with several companies. What I was looking for, I found in NE Productions.
What I was looking
∑ A video company that could “feel” the passion I have for my agency and see the importance of our work, not just pay lip service to it to get a job
∑ A video company with an excellent reputation
∑ A video company that can be versatile and go with the flow of an agency in flux and schedules that don’t always work around the video company’s schedule
∑ A video company with a sense of humor, that can be deadly serious about getting the work right
∑ A video company with years of experience under all kinds of situations
What I found….
∑ All of the above, plus!

When I interviewed Steve and Nat, I could see their minds going 90 miles an hour with ideas on how to best present our agency. Steve and Nat “bounce off each other”, the ideas flowing like water, one starting an idea, the other building on it completing it. They were creative, innovative, yet down to earth and realistic. They adapted as the project changed and grew. As they got more involved in the agency and came to actually see the work we do, and met the people that have been helped, they became invested in it, wanting to make the best possible product. When it came to convincing reluctant staff appear on tape, they were gentle and convincing and mostly successful. Some people you just can’t convince to go in front of a camera, even me!

They have this great rule of only taking change orders from the “point person” on the project. This was very helpful, as all change suggestions had to be filtered through one person and this eliminated any confusing and unauthorized changes.

My experience with NE Productions was a very positive one. The guys are great to work with. They offer constructive critique, take critique well, and show respect for the people they interview.

NE Video Productions, a Portsmouth-based video production company recently produced a marketing video for UltraVision Security Systems, Inc. (China). The organization works to provide motion detection sensor systems using ultra-wideband (UWB) technology. The video will serve as a marketing tool for UltraVision Security as it implements its global marketing strategy.
