Every four years, twenty-somethings are told to “Rock the Vote,” “Choose or Lose” and even that they must “Vote or Die,” but statistics show that many young people do not listen to these urgings. Why are young people so apathetic? And if kids are so unconcerned with politics, who are these campaign interns that flock the state every primary season. Beth LaMontagne takes a look at these questions by going to the source. Each week, she interviews a person under 30 and asks them about their political views, or lack thereof. Beth is looking for a broad spectrum of young people, from avid political junkies to those who have never voted or cared, Republicans, Democrats, Libertarians and everything in between.
