Celebrities fighting poverty, with style

Can a T-shirt end poverty? OmniPeace thinks so.

OmniPeace was founded by Los Angeles based entrepreneur, Mary Fanaro, whose vision is to address vital humanitarian needs through the distribution and sale of consumer products, raise awareness of extreme poverty in sub-saharan Africa and galvanize support for Millennium Promise. By purchasing an OmniPeace branded product, consumers now have a vehicle to become activists while participating in Millennium Promise’s call to action.

OmniPeace donates 25% of all profits to Millennium Promise. This donation supplies Millennium Promise with a constant stream of revenue used to tackle problems such as hunger, disease and lack of clean drinking water, in hopes of transforming enough impoverished villages into self-sufficient communities to eventually lift themselves out of extreme poverty by 2025.

Just a few of the many celebrities supporting in this cause are Courteney Cox and David Arguette, Kevin Costner, David Beckham, Sienna Miller, Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston and the list goes on and on.
