Stay Tuned for New Gossip Girl... What's To Come?

I was already excited about the next new episode of Gossip Girl, airing on January 5. After seeing this new promo clip, I really can't wait! (Warning - this entry does contain spoilers.)

Here's some good news for those of us who can't stand Serina's new boyfriend, Aaron Rose. (The artist...) According to some reliable sources, he will not be returning. What does this mean for Serina's love life? A(nother) reconcilation with Dan? Probably not right away, as Dan is probably going to be interested in a hot, new young teacher, who will be played by Laura Breckenridge, pictured below. Now here's something to chew on - Dan and Blair may be starring in the school play together... could that lead to some sparks???

It's also looking like Lily may have indeed given birth to Rufus' love child years ago & that he or she may be a new character to enter the storyline closer to the end of the season. I hope it's a girl, for the potential catfight factor.

Leighton Meester, who has an album coming out next year, will grace the cover of Teen Vogue in February 2009. Here are a few excerpts from the interview:

... Her parents’ prison past: “I wouldn’t have volunteered that information, but I’ve never kept it a secret either. It’s just not my past; it’s not my story to tell.”

... Her childhood: “I wasn’t born in jail; I was born in a hospital. I lived with my mother for a few months in a halfway house, and then I went to stay with my grandmother for a few more before my mom got out. But I had a normal life.”

... Her co-star Ed Westwick (Chuck Bass): “He’s my favorite actor to work with. We have really good chemistry.”

... Her debut album she hopes to release this spring: “The music is very fun. It’s edgy, like electropop rather than bubblegum and you can dance to it.”

Chase Crawford to Star in Leona Lewis Video

Chace Crawford will star in singer Leona Lewis' video for her song, "I Will Be."

"He has speaking lines in the video as well as just appearing in it," a source close to the set said, adding that, "It will be the most anticipated video in January."

"Chace went to London a couple months ago for meetings and to promote Gossip Girl. He went to a party and ended up meeting Leona," the source reveals. "The two hit it off and talk every once in a while and have become fast friends."

"A couple weeks ago Leona called Chace Crawford and asked if he would be in her next video. He obviously said yes."

Buffy fans haven't been this excited in years. Joss Whedon's Dollhouse will premiere on February 13. The above scene from the Feb. 13 premiere is the first time we see Echo, played by Eliza Dushku, wake up after having her memories wiped in the special memory-flushing chair. That leads into a discussion between lab tech Topher, played by Fran Kranz, and Echo’s handler Boyd, played by Harry Lennix, about her last "date," delving into just what being a doll/active means.
