And last but not least the BRAC Commissioners who saw through all the balony the DOD was trying to sell us. Long Live PNS!
I have to add though, that closing Brunswick Naval Airstation is a huge mistake and a loss to New England security.

I am very happy to hear that the shipyard and 4500 jobs were spared. What a great job so many people did to see that this shipyard and her people are worth so much, congratulations!!!!

Donald Rumsfeld criticized the recent revisions to the BRAC list made by Anthony Principi and the commssion saying: "They seem to have put a much heavier weight on economic impact, (rather) than military value, than we did,"
If so, why did they recommend closing Brunswick Naval Air Staion and Otis Air National Guard Base on Cape Cod which was one of the responders to 911. He continues to treat the public like we're stupid and gullable.
Has anyone brought him up to speed on the recent joint military exercises between Russia and China, who is building subs at a much faster pace than we are?
