Samsung Portable DirecTV Player

DirecTVviewer.jpg

Can't bear to leave your TV when you get into your car? Well, soon enough, you might be able to bring your DirecTV with you.

Of course, you could just mount it in your kitchen, or office or workshop, but the idea of bringing it into your car and taking all your NFL Sunday games or whatever your must-see-TV viewing habits are with you might just be too tempting to pass up.

This portable unit features 250 channels, 75 channels of XM Radio, 10 watts of stereo sound, AV input for connecting other devices.

The Samsung SL10D10 will be available in March 2006 for $499.

onthegoLIVE broadcasts TV audio to your phone

onthegoLIVEhires.jpg

A few weeks ago we told you about the Slingbox. This device, while not providing video, is pretty slick in it's own right. Hook it up, and you can listen to audio from your TV from any phone. You can also change channels and other options from any cellphone or landline phone.

It looks to be available starting February 1st, for about $300.

Belkin CableFree USB Hub

BelkinWirelessHub.jpg
Belkin announced that this device will be available here in the US sometime this spring.

The four port device will allow you to plug in any USB device, such as a printer, thumbdrive or scanner and be able to access it wirelessly from anywhere in the room...without having to install additional software.

Belkin Release

I plan on getting this as soon as it is available, as I see it eliminating some of the cables in my home office...
