A debate is a contest, or, perhaps, like a game, where two or more speakers present their arguments intent on persuading one another. The idea is that each receive "EQUAL" time to defend their argument. I would like to know how the media defends what transpired tonight in the Republican debates, because instead of this being a fair debate, it was the McCain and Romney talk show. In a "true" debate, the speeches and speaking time are divided equally between the speakers. This is the standard rule in the debating process, so after tonight's embarrassing debate counterfeit, I hope that the American public wakes up to what is really going on here!

It is very curious to me how a debate between 4 Presidential candidates primarily consisted of rounds between John McCain and Mitt Romney. Further concerning is the fact that Ron Paul was not asked one question by the media representatives, and I have to ask "why?" This is the kind of manipulative bias that many of us in the US are aware exists in the media and within the political camps that is not only unconstitutional, but it is creating a frustration with the election process that is promoting apathy. A debate should have been fair and unbiased, and all four men should have been equal time, and an opportunity to answer questions and share their political spin on the issues that concern all of America. This debate is an outrage, and as registered, voting American I am nothing short of disappointed and embarrassed.
